But sometimes it seems like no matter what we do, we just can’t seem to find that elusive happiness we’re looking for. If you’re struggling to find happiness in your life, try implementing some of these simple habits into your daily routine. These habits have been scientifically shown to lead to a happier and more fulfilling life.

1. Get enough sleep.

Most people need around eight hours of sleep per night. Getting enough sleep leads to increased energy levels, improved mood, and sharper cognition. If you’re finding it difficult to get enough shut-eye, try implementing a bedtime routine and cutting back on caffeinated beverages in the afternoon and evening.

2. Exercise regularly.

Exercise has countless benefits, including reducing stress, improving mental health, and boosting energy levels. A moderate amount of exercise is the key to enjoying these benefits; too much exercise can actually lead to increased levels of stress and anxiety. So as my physio said today, find an exercise routine that works for you and stick with it!

3. Spend time with loved ones.
