It can be difficult to stay positive when everything seems to be going wrong, but there are some things you can do to help yourself cope with the situation. Here are five tips for staying strong and finding comfort during challenging times.

1. Remember That Everything Is Temporary

When it feels like everything is going wrong, it can be easy to get overwhelmed and feel lost in the moment. However, it’s important to remind yourself that this feeling is only temporary; things will eventually look up again. It may take time, but eventually, you will come out the other side.

2. Take Control of Your Thoughts

Try not to let your thoughts spiral into a negative place — recognize when you’re starting to focus on the bad and consciously shift your attention towards more positive things. Remind yourself of all the good things in your life that give you joy or make you smile and try to focus on those instead of the negative aspects of the situation.
